Drake dropped his latest single from the upcoming album “Views from the 6,” titled “Summer Sixteen,” in his OVO Sound Radio show on Apple’s Beats 1.

According to the Verge, there is a verse in the song that seems to slam Kanye West and another rap artist. The lyrics go: “I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay / Now I got a house in LA / Now I got a bigger pool than Ye / and look, man, Ye’s pool is nice / Mine’s just big is what I’m saying.”

Despite many issues surrounding the latest album, such as delay and cancellation rumors, “Views from the 6” will be out in April, based on CBC News.

A previous article noted that his new album might slam real life couple Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj.

Drake and Mill had an alleged feud because of the “Anaconda” singer. As per Cleveland report, meanwhile, Mill is gearing up on a new album to match Drake’s work. Hence, the competition between them might still continue.

Meanwhile, the rumor about Minaj as one of the featured artists in Drake’s anticipated album can only be treated with a grain of salt, as the site reported. Since the hitmaker is currently in a relationship with Mill, the collaboration might be impossible to happen anytime soon.

Moreover, Rihanna is rumoured to be part of Drake’s new album as one of the featured artists. According to an eyewitness from Hollywood Life, they were seen filming what appears to be a music video at the Eagle Rock Plaza in LA.

After revealing some exciting news about his latest single and album, the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker provides NBA commentaries during the Toronto Raptors’ game on Jan. 30, reports Pitchfork. He also took the opportunity to discuss “Summer Sixteen” during play-by-play.
