Drake has confirmed that he is releasing a new music video soon to go with his upcoming new album, “Views From the 6”. The rapper announced the surprise during his recent performance at the ACL Music Festival 2015.
Earlier this month, Drake surprised fans by releasing “Can I” on his Beats 1 OVO Sound radio show. Drake collaborated with Beyonce on the track and was released only two weeks after launching “What a Time To Be Alive”, a collaboration with Future.
Drake went ahead and threw another big surprise at his unknowing fans during his ACL performance on Saturday. He also shared details about his much-awaited album, “Views From the 6”, and his “Hotline Bling” video.
His big surprise was bringing in J.Cole who arrived to enthral the audience during the ACL weekend, as noted by Sun Times Network.
J.Cole’s quick yet memorable performance on “A Tale of Two Citiez” and “No Role Modelz” probably left everyone asking for more.
As per Hip Hop DX, Drake then went to share that the Austin set may be the last show he will be doing this year since he will be busy at work on his album, “Views From the 6.”
He also confirmed that the speculated “Hotline Bling” video is really happening and that the editing for it wrapped up last week.
Fans can probably expect the “Hotline Bling” video to be out soon. However, the artist in question didn’t drop any dates on when “Views From the 6” may be released.
Drake has certainly been on a roll, right from 100 hits on Billboard Hot 100 to his show for Beats 1 and already having launched “If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late,” “What A Time To Be Alive” and “Can I” this year.
Here’s how twitter saw fans letting the world know that there was a surprise guest gracing Drake’s Saturday set at ACL.
Fans of the artist can keep coming back for more updates on his new video and the eagerly awaited album “Views From the 6.”
