‘Doom’ Open Beta Extended! Catch Warpath Mode & Team Deathmatch for 24 Hours


Much to the amazement of the fans, the Doom open beta has been extended for a day. Fans requested on social media to extend the open beta and “Doom” finally took note of that.

As per the Gamespot reports, the open beta was supposed to be available until April 17. Instead, the beta has been extended it for another day (April 18)  and will be available till 11:59 PM EST on Monday.

The publisher took to twitter to confirm the news. “You asked for it! We’re extending #DOOM Open Beta for an extra day. #FightLikeHell until April 18, 11:59pm ET,” as posted by the official account.

In the DOOM Multiplayer Beta, fans will have the opportunity to play the brutally fun and challenging shooter weeks before its release. The Beta is expected to feature two maps, Heatwave and Infernal, and two modes, Team Death-match and Warpath, along with never-before-seen weapons, armour sets, taunts and hack modules.

The Open beta started on April 15 and was made available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

“Doom” is finally slated to release on May 13, this year. Gamespot also writes that Bethesda has recently announced “the game’s post-launch DLC, which will include more maps, weapons, items, and customization options.”
