Is Doctor Strange heading to Thor: Ragnarok? New set photos from the third film instalment hinted Benedict Cumberbatch’s presence. Read on to find out the details here.

Cumberbatch’s supreme sorcerer will hit theatres this November. However, new details emerged that fans might see him in another Marvel film too. While Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are currently filming in Australia, a new photo showed the sorcerer’s possible involvement.

See new set photos below. Have you spotted the obvious Doctor Strange clue?

In one photo, Thor is holding a card – possibly containing a message or whatsoever. As such, if you zoom into it and look closely, it reads “177A Bleecker St”. This, of course, is no ordinary address as it’s the house of another Marvel hero. This is where Doctor Strange maintains his Secret Sanctum.

Radio Times noted that this sort of confirmed Doctor Strange and Thor: Ragnarok crossover. According to the site, Marvel wants to make sure that viewers are familiar with the supreme sorcerer. Thus, it’s possible he will appear in Thor 3 in preparation for his possible appearance in Avengers 3. Seeing Doctor Strange will likely prompt audiences to want more of him in upcoming Marvel movies.

Although Avengers 3 will be bringing in lots of characters, it seems there’s still room for one or two more. Reports mentioned that Captain Marvel star Brie Larson will likely join in Avengers 3. Russo Brothers may find it hard to get on board another character. However, they’re still open to possibilities.

In an interview with Yahoo, Joe Russo mentioned that, “Anthony would probably die from exhaustion if we introduced another character,” on the upcoming film. To which Anthony Russo replied, “That’s not to say we’re not going to introduce a new character.”

Doctor Strange will hit the big screen on November 4. Meanwhile, Thor: Ragnarok will be released in October 2017. Avengers 3 will be shown in theatres in 2018.
