Doctor Strange Spoiler Leak Reveals Baron Mordo is Another Thor 3 Villain?

Doctor Strange spoiler

Doctor Strange spoiler rumors have plagued the Internet ever since its announcement. A recent round of these speculations emerged again. This time, it points to the upcoming film’s potential connection with another Phase 3 film.

Warning: The information discussed below is detailed. If you don’t want any spoilers, better check this article later.

The issue pertains to Doctor Strange‘s post-credit scenes. A report by MovieWeb details that the Sorcerer Supreme’s introduction to the MCU features two after credits. Namely, these are the mid-credit scene and the end credits.

As per the source, the mid-credits one features a deal made between Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Accordingly, Doctor Strange wants to rid the globe of threats from mythical creatures. Given Loki’s¬†notorious history of almost ending the world back in The Avengers, Strange talks to Thor about his brother.

MovieWeb details the two’s conversation as follows:

“Thor reveals that he needs his brother to find their father Odin (Anthony Hopkins), which leads the doctor to strike a deal with the Asgardian. Strange will agree to find Odin and Loki, if they agree to leave Earth, go back to Asgard, and never come back, to which Thor agrees.”

However, although the rumored mid-credit scene offers an interesting dynamic between Strange and Thor, it really doesn’t give away much.

This leads to the other after credit scene. According to MovieWeb, the end credit scene features Baron Mordo’s (Chiwetel Ejiofor) transformation to evil. Given this, the source speculates that a potential path for Mordo is to seek other villains such as Loki and Hela.

Could this lead to the character’s appearance in Thor 3?

This is highly unlikely, especially since MovieWeb highlights that this is just speculation. However, it still warrants possibility. After all, Loki is one testament that Marvel doesn’t get rid of the sinister villains that easy.

For now, take all these details with a grain of salt.
