“Divergent Allegiant” released a teaser for the movie. This is welcome news to fans who panicked after Director Robert Schwentke stepped down from production.
The “Allegiant” clip featured Tris and Four’s intense kiss. Their backdrop for the scene is a romantic sunset. Celebrity-Gossip noted Lionsgate plan to generate buzz for the movie. “Divergent Allegiant” hits theatres on March 18, 2016.
PopSugar also reported on the latest IMAX poster for the film.
Posters for the movie previously released showed Tris and Four in an embrace. The respective expressions of their faces hinted at betrayal.
Entertainment Weekly asked the question that everyone likely wanted to ask after the first two instalments.
“When do Tris and Four get a chance to make out?”
The release of this clip certainly answered that, Entertainment Weekly stated.
Cinemablend described the trailer as mysterious and action packed.
For “Allegiant”, the lead characters ventured beyond the walls of Chicago. Their goal, to find out why their city has been isolated, Collider reported.
However, this leads them to discover a bigger threat. A large organization that threatens to destroy everyone and everything Tris loves, the website revealed.
A mysterious leader heads the organization. The role cast Jeff Daniels. The actor joins the franchise for the first time.
“Divergent Allegiant” is split into two films, Den of Geek reported.
Veronica Roth, the trilogy author, expressed her thoughts on how it changes the book’s plot.
She said, “What does this mean? Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it’s really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them. I know changes always make fans of the books– and the author!– nervous, but hopefully the characters we know (and love. Or sometimes love to hate?) will still be intact, which is really the important thing. I am eager to see how these movies turn out, along with you guys.”
