Digimon World: Next Order released new screenshots. Bandai Namco, the game publisher, revealed event scenes through the game’s official website. The scenes feature Metal Etemon, Nanomon, Growlmon, Arresterdramon, Titamon, and Omega Shoutmon.

The new batch of screenshots showed more Digimons. The images’ scenes appear like those from Digimon World Re: Digitize, which means that gamers will have more cities, grasslands, and deserts to explore, the official website revealed. Previously, fans only saw a few like Palmon, Agumon, Hagurumon, Skullgreymon, Shinegreymon and Metalgreymon.

The upcoming role-playing video game is said to propel in the same motion that the first game was designed for PlayStation One. The main difference though will be the two partners that will accompany every player throughout the journey of finding peace and vanquishing evil in the Digital World. In terms of storyline, Digimon raising, and combat mechanics, the role-playing game will come like Digimon World Re: Digitize.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Entertainment also announced new information regarding DLC scenarios for the PlayStation Vita platform. Japan’s Jump magazine hinted that Meicoomon’s storyline will be introduced to the upcoming game via the Meicoomon’s Mystery scenario.

Meicoomon, a new Digimon with no memories, will appear coming from another world in the said DLC scenario. The player will then be tasked to help Meicoomon regain his lost memories. After finishing the storyline, the player will be rewarded with an artifact that can unlock Meicoomon’s next evolution form.

The upcoming game will also officially introduce Meicoomon as a playable Digimon. The character was first seen in the new film Digimon Adventure Tri, but his powers are yet to be seen. The Jump magazine issue of the game also showed Shoutmon and Gumdramon for the first time, while they were evolving into Omnishoutmon and Arresterdramon, respectively.

The role-playing game is scheduled for release on March 17 in Japan for the PS Vita platform, Gematsu reported.
