Dead Bodies of Queensland Residents Found in Brisbane

Two dead bodies have been found in a dam located behind Kingston’s Mudgee Street’s Coates Hire near Scrubby Creek in the south of Brisbane on Thursday morning.

The bodies were shoved in a steel box and were shot in the head. The dead bodies are believed to be of Logan residents Cory Breton, 28, and Iuliana Triscaru, 31. The pair have been missing since January 24. Police have charged five men and one woman on suspicion of their links with the murder of the duo after their disappearance last month. The suspects also appeared in the Brisbane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday morning for the hearing.

Detective Superintendent Dave Hutchinson said that the police feared discovering the remains of the pair who went missing since January 24. “We do fear that the box will contain the bodies of the two missing persons,” AAP quoted him as saying. “(A murder scene) is yet to be determined but we believe it was probably – probably – in that Mudgee Road area.”

According to the police, Breton and Triscaru were packed in the two metre steel box and dumped in the dam after their death on the bank of a Hilux vehicle. The police stated that there were two fluorescent yellow ratchet straps that might have been used to guard the box were missing and were yet to be found. “The ratchet straps were disposed of on the morning of the 25th of January on Third Avenue at Masden, and they’re no longer there,” Hutchison said as quoted by Courier Mail. “We believe that somebody has probably just located those ratchet straps and taken them home.”

The motive behind murdering the two is not yet clear. Police have, however, urged people with any knowledge relating to the incident to report to them.
