Crude oil futures were higher during the European session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures were for April delivery traded at 50.71 US dollars per barrel at the time of writing, 0.37% up.
It earlier traded at a session high 50.92 dollars per barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at 48.46 and resistance at $ 51.04 dollars.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the dollar against a basket of six other major currencies followed, rose 0.28% to trade at $ 95.71.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery fell 0.68% to trade at $ 60.61 a barrel, while the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at $ 9.90 per barrel.
