Cristiano Ronaldo was rumoured to be in a relationship with a Moroccan kick boxer. Amidst speculations, the Real Madrid star admitted that “personal problems” have affected his game. Is he really gay?
According to The Sun, Cristiano was interviewed on Spanish TV station Antena 3 following their team’s victory last Tuesday. Despite his record-breaking stunt, Cristiano admitted that there were off-field issues which bothered him.
“I have been below my level. You have to take into account that I have had some personal problems I would prefer to keep them to myself — but I am in a better place now.”
Was he referring to the gay rumours? It was reported that a French contributor claimed on TV that Cristiano Ronaldo was involved in a “bromance” situation. In another report by The Sun, the site mentioned that Cristiano regularly flies to Morocco in his private jet to visit his “cuddle” buddy.
French contributor Daniel Riolo said,
“What I’m interested in is what players do on the pitch, and whether their side activities might have an impact on that. Take the example of Cristiano Ronaldo — I’m sure flying off to Morocco three to four times a week to see a friend and cuddle with him might have an impact on his performances eventually.”
The friend referred to is Badr Hari, who was seen in Cristiano’s series of photos during his vacation. Likewise, Badr also regularly post photos of him and Cristiano.
One photo showed Cristiano being lifted by Badr. It had a caption, “Just married. Always there to pick you up, bro.” In the series of photos, the two looked very close to one another.
Among the rumours he’s facing, Cristiano Ronaldo addressed the issue about him leaving the La Liga giants. There were rumours that he’s moving to Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester United but Cristiano denied such buzz.
“I have two years left on my contract, and I will stay here,” Cristiano said.
