CBS’ picked up its police procedural crime drama television series “Criminal Mind” for a twelfth season. Now a new plot for the upcoming installment is already being penned by the writers which have reportedly been done. Will it speed up the filming and release process?

CarterMatt.com. learned that the first rough draft for the approaching season has reportedly been finished. With this, the script writers, more or less, have created the overall direction and vision of the series.   Thus, over the next few weeks, the fans can expect more updates on the show revealing what-will-happen-to-who.  A complete script- is that going to affect the release date of season 12? Will Criminal minds emerge on the TV screens earlier than expected (fall 2016)?

A report published by TV Guide reveals that “Criminal Minds” season 12 is in the process of being written. Show’s executive producer Erica Messer conveyed:

 “It’s going to be a really fun, different year. We’re excited to catch these bad guys all over again,” she added.

Messer has also revealed that show’s baddie character Peter Lewis aka Mr. Scratch may play an important role in the season 12. Mr. Scratch (played by Bodhi Elfman) first appeared on the show in Season 10 as a hacker, stalker, and serial killer reports Hofmag. He made his first appearance in the Season 10 of the series and season 12. In season 11 we saw him escaping prison with 12 other serial killers. Until now, his whereabouts are still untraceable.  Season 12 will continue the BAU’s chase for him.

Along with this popular antagonist, the cast has also included veteran TV actor Adam Rodriguez. Rodriguez will be featured as a special agent part of FBI’s Fugitive Task Force Agent replacing Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) in season 12 of Criminal Minds.

The 41-year-old is a well-known face on TV and film.  To date, he has been associated with popular series like “CSI: Miami,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Reckless,” “Ugly Betty” and so on. His list of feature films includes names like “Magic Mike,” “Magic Mike XXL,” and “About Last Night.”

“Criminal Minds” Season 12 is scheduled to air this fall on CBS.
