Adam Rodriguez, “Criminal Minds” Season 12 new BAU Agent, was introduced to the public for the first time. With his entry on the show, many of the fans became curious about the new character.
Last season, Shemar Moore, who was part of the original cast, left the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU).
According to Deadline, this coming fall, avid “Criminal Minds” fans should anticipate seeing the new actor, Adam Rodriguez, most of the time next season as Moore’s replacement.
CBS Entertainment President Glenn Geller said, “We’re all big fans of Adam’s and are excited to welcome him back to the CBS family as part of the terrific cast of ‘Criminal Minds.’”
Upon his appearance in the next season as the new cast member and new BAU agent, there are the five things fans should know about Adam Rodriguez.
First, the audience needs to know that Rodriguez already played as one of the members of the FBI Fugitive Task Force.
Second is that he will return along with other stars. He will be with Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness.
Third, he starred in other famous American TV shows like “Jane The Virgin,” “CSI” spinoff, “CSI: New York’s” Gary Sinise and “Criminal Minds” spinofff “Beyond Borders”.
Fourth, he was part of Channing Tatum’s iconic films like “Magic Mike XXL and “Magic Mike,” and also appeared in “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” with Tyler Perry and Taranji P. Henson.
Fifth is that Adam Rodriguez is also a screenwriter and director.
He’s not just an actor but also a screenwriter and director, which means he can possibly outperform other members of the cast in “Criminal Minds” Season 12.
Due to his excellent performance as actor in these action-packed television series, he was recognized by the “Criminal Minds” team.
He even impressed “Criminal Minds” executive producer and show runner Erica Messser with his on-screen and television performances, E! Online cited.
She said, “We’re thrilled to introduce a new special agent by adding the very talented Adam Rodriguez to our amazing cast.”
“We have exciting storylines planned for his character and the entire BAU team as we head into our 12th season,” she added.
“Criminal Minds” Season 12 is scheduled for premiere this coming fall of 2016.
