Barcelona will host Espanyol in round 5 of their Copa Del Rey campaign at Camp Nou on Wednesday, Jan. 6, starting 7:30 PM GMT.

The two teams clashed back on Saturday, Jan. 2, to produce a goal less draw at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat stadium.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique commented before the match that he is treating the clash as a one-legged tie. Sky Sports quoted him as saying, “We shall play as there was no second leg. My players are perfectly motivated for this clash.”

“We played a great game at their ground. We created six or seven very clear goalscoring chances that could have won us the match. But that doesn’t mean that there weren’t a lot of things that we need to improve, and in fact we have been able to do just that.”

As per the International Business Times reports, Enrique seemed unhappy about the last result as “The result left the defending Spanish champions two points adrift of Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, although they have a game in hand.”

Espanyol haven’t been quite upto their playing standards lately and would need extra confidence to topple the in-form Barcelona in their own backyard.

Enrique also mentioned that Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan would play some part in the upcoming clash.

Both Vidal and Turan were signed by Barcelona earlier this week along with 75 other players to mark their transfer-ban after 14 months.
