“Conjuring 2” movie has become even scarier to watch after a man died while watching the film and his body was reportedly gone missing.

Yahoo News wrote a 65-year-old man died during a screening of the James Wan horror movie at the Sri Balasubramaniar Cinemas in Tiruvannamalai in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.

The man and his friend went to watch the horror sequel. However, the movie outing of the two went tragic when one of them suffered from chest pains causing him to “pass out and die” during the climax of the movie.

The man was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital but was later declared dead. According to the Times of India, when medics gave the green light for the body to be taken to the Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem, the corpse was already missing along with the person in charge of the body.

The Telegraph noted that although there is definitely a rational explanation on the man’s death and the disappearance of his body, it still fueled supernatural fear on social media that coincided with the release of the film.

A video purportedly showing a woman who “got possessed” while watching “Conjuring 2” has been viewed nearly five million times since last week when it was uploaded on Facebook, Yahoo News wrote. However, the said video is thought to have been filmed in 2013, the site noted.

A Facebook user, named Damian Ng Yih Leong, also claimed to have found a cross on his hotel mirror after watching the film.

According to Leong, he and a friend returned to their hotel room at about 2.30 a.m. after watching “Conjuring 2” in Malaysia to find a cross drawn on the mirror in the toilet. “It was freshly drawn, as I could see water creeping down on one side of the cross, and the stain is still fresh,” Leong wrote.

“Conjuring 2” has opened in theaters on June 10, 2016 and it has already topped the box office in its first week of release, Movie Pilot reported.

The sequel starred Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren, the husband-wife duo who happen to be paranormal investigators.
