Club World Cup 2015: Barcelona vs Guangzhou Evergrande FC Live Stream, Score & Preview

FC Barcelona

Here’s a game you surely can’t miss. The Catalans taking on the Asian Champions League Winners at the Yokohoma International Stadium in Japan promises to be a blinder. Barcelona will play against Guangzhou Evergrande FC in the semi final of the FIFA Club World Cup 2015 on Thursday, Dec. 17 starting 10:30 AM GMT.

Barcelona have won five titles this year including the La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the Champions League and Uefa Super Cup in 2015, as per the BBC reports. They are just two matches away from sealing the FIFA Club World Cup. The only two teams standing in their way are Guangzhou Evergrande and River Plate.

The South American team, River Plate, made it to the finals of the Club World Cup beating Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the first semi final at the Nagai Stadium in Osaka.

Lionel Messi seems very optimistic about their chances of winning five titles in a year. Back in 2009 Barcelona won six titles which included the Spanish Super Cup as well.

“That time we won, everything looked unrepeatable. We weren’t sure if we’d get close to it again,” Messi said.

“And here we are. Now what’s left for us to do is end the year in the best possible way and make it unforgettable.”

Barcelona will be chasing the title for the third time, as per the Telegraph reports. The only worrying factor is Neymar’s injury. Its still unclear whether he will make it to the final XI. Guangzhou have won 28-games in a row and beating them is a tough ask.

The final is scheduled for Dec. 20 in Yokohoma. Stay tuned for more updates.
