With just about a week to go until Christmas, the holiday season is upon us and nothing drives that point home more than the exciting deals on your favorite gadgets. It appears that Android loyalists will now be able to cross off the Nexus 5X or the Nexus 6P from their wish list.
Google announced on Twitter that it has slashed down the prices for the Nexus 6P and 5X devices by $50. That wasn’t all, the company has also thrown in free shipping throughout the holidays. As noted by Engadget, the $50 discount offer on the latest Nexus devices in question is available until 22nd December. The free shipping offer runs through until December 30.
During the promotions, the pricing on the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P reads out to be $330 and $450, respectively. Android fans looking to get their hands on the unlocked Nexus devices should definitely give this offer another look, because it appears this is as good as it gets. It is noteworthy that the deal is only available for customers in US and Japan.
While it has only been a few months since the Nexus handsets have hit store shelves, rumors about Nexus 2016 devices have already begin to do the rounds. As predicted by industry analyst Pan Jiutang, head of research at the Shenzhen Huaqiang Electronics Research Institute in China, Google would continue its tie-up with Huawei. So, if all goes as speculated fans may witness the release of another Huawei Nexus device which may arrive powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor.
It is being widely accepted that this may just be the case, given how the Nexus 6P was so well received. As also, by the time the next Google flagship makes an appearance in the markets, fans may most likely be accepting nothing less than a Snapdragon 820 chip inside. For now the Nexus fandom can take advantage of the exciting holiday promotions and keep coming back for more updates.
