Chloë Grace Moretz, who recently starred in “The Fifth Wave,” has confirmed that she is dating David and Victoria Beckham’s son, Brooklyn Beckham. Brooklyn had kind of confirmed it last month by posting a picture of the two of them on his Instagram. That is the first form of confirmation from the couple.
Chloë, 19, admitted that she was in a relationship with Brooklyn, who is just 17, on the “Watch What Happens Live!” (WWHL) show on Monday. “We’re in a relationship, it’s fine, it’s no biggie,” she told host Andy Cohen.
“I think the more I don’t make it mysterious the more people don’t care, so yes, we’re in a relationship. Very exciting news I’m sure,” the “Kick Ass” actress told Cohen during a game of Plead the Fifth.
US Weekly mentions that speculations of the two teens dating began in 2014 when they attended a SoulCycle class together. They then attended Teen Choice Awards together. They were also reportedly spotted attending a dinner with Brooklyn’s parents, mentions People. “They had a massive PDA thing going on. Chloë was stroking Brooklyn’s arm, and at one point Brooklyn had his head on Chloë’s shoulder. They definitely seemed like a couple,” People has learned from a source.
As for Chloë, she was understandably impressed with the former English footballer and Posh Spice. She praised their parenting. “He’s a great dad, she’s a great mother. They genuinely are very good parents that’s what matters most, they made a pretty son.” Well, we can’t complain.
In an earlier interview with WWHL conducted in 2014, Chloë was asked by a fan to “confirm or deny” her relationship status with Brooklyn. She just said “I don’t know. He’s a very good guy and he’s a good person. I enjoy hanging out with him.” Well, as things are official now, here’s wishing the cute couple a long road ahead of togetherness.
Chloë’s forthcoming movie, “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” releases on May 20.
