Neymar Jr. and Luis Suarez have been taking Barcelona Forward. Both of them have been phenomenal upfront leading the attack while Messi is still out with injury. Suarez is upbeat with the team chemistry as well as Neymar. He claims that everyone knows their respective roles at the club and it becomes a huge responsibility to keep scoring without the likes of Messi or Iniesta.

BBC reports suggested that Luis Suarez can go past Diego Maradona as well as Romario in Barcelona’s list of all-time goal scorers when the Champions League holders face BATE Borisov. The 28 year old star forward has netted 36 goals already and only behind Maradona’s 36 goals and Romario’s 39 goals, respectively.

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is not in favor of resting his two forwards on Wednesday and insists, “As defending champions we must send a message we are ready.”

They are only behind arch-rivals Real Madrid on goal difference and will look forward to push themselves up on the La Liga Table. The defending champions will move to the knockout stages if they secure a win against BATE, notes Soccerlens.

Barcelona is still operating under transfer Ban “which means new signings cannot feature until January,” as per BBC.

Enrique states, “Last year I was able to do what I wanted with the amount of minutes that players had, even though I was criticised at the time, and now I am restricted by the number of players available.”

“We will have players back soon, along with other players available in January, and we will see if then we can arrange the minutes played because I am aware that the trophies are disputed in the final months and that is the key.”

Barcelona’s next match is against Real Madrid and Villarreal. New signings Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal will be available to play in January when Barcelona’s transfer ban is lifted.
