Can’t wait to catch ABC’s newest drama series – “The Catch?” We round up seven bits of info you need to know before this show premieres.

1.  ShondaLand’s Newest Hit?

The upcoming show is TV producer Shonda Rhimes’ newest addition to ABC network.

2. Rhimes Not The Showrunner?

Rhimes will merely sit as an executive producer for this newest show. Allan Heinberg is the showrunner for the series. Heinberg previously worked on other ShondaLand hits, like “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Meanwhile, “Big Love” and “Hannibal” writer, Jennifer Schuur, wrote the script for the pilot.

3. Classic “Cat and Mouse” Tale?

According to Entertainment Weekly, this newest drama will be ABC’s take on the classic cat and mouse tale. The story will revolve around a girl who goes after her ex-fiance, who conned her and ran off with all her money.

4. Mireille Enos Will Play “The Cat.”

“The Killing” actress has been tapped to play private investigator Alice Vaughan. Enos previously worked with writer Schuur in the HBO drama “Big Love.” The actress played twins Kathy and JoDean Marquart on that show.

5. Peter Krause Will Play “The Mouse”

Peter Krause will play Vaughan’s ex-fiance Benjamin Jones, a con artist who took off with all her savings.

6. “Fun, Twisty Drama”

If there’s one thing that ShondaLand shows have in common, it’s the “fun, twisty drama” they deliver each week. This upcoming show is expected to follow in this tradition.

7. #TGIT

According to Inquisitr, Shonda Rhimes has been “owning Thursday nights” on ABC. ShondaLand shows have been known to make audiences consistently Thank God It’s Thursday. Will “The Catch” do the same? The newest drama series will be taking over for “How to Get Away With Murder” as it goes on break. You can catch “The Catch” premiere on Thursday, March 31.
