Some Marvel movie enthusiasts were fortunate to witness the official movie trailer of “Captain America: Civil War” at the recent Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took the stage during the Expo to announce the trailer, iO9 noted. He described the film as the finale of the trilogy and the “culmination of everything that has come before in the Cinematic Universe.”
Actors Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie were also present at the event.
While the teaser is not yet available for the public, and several fake trailers are luring throughout the internet, Entertainment Weekly made a description of what to expect from the “Captain America: Civil War” official trailer.
The scene begins with Captain America (Chris Evans) and the Avengers’ battle against Crossbones (Frank Grillo). Even with Crossbones seemingly in an advantage in the fight, the site noted that of course, the Avengers won.
After the battle, some credit scenes from the recent movie “Ant-Man” were shown. The trailer also offered a glimpse of the feud between the superheroes. Notably, there is a scene where Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) told the Cap that he would like to punch him.
“Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth,” Iron Man said.
The clip ended with an interesting scene where Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), also known as Ant-Man, met Captain America for the first time. The Cap, along with other Avengers, found Ant-Man inside a white van.
Some of the characters like Spider-Man (Tom Holland) were not exposed on the trailer. On the other hand, Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) landed a brief introduction on the movie teaser.
Rumors about the public release of the official trailer is said to be on November, MCUExchange reported. However, a leaked version of the trailer, taken during D23, was posted on Youtube.
“Captain America: Civil War” will kick off in theaters on May 6, 2016.
