Aside from the confirmation that Spider Man will indeed be making a cameo appearance on “Captain America: Civil War,” there are also rumors that the superhero will be having two costumes in the movie.
Heroic Hollywood believes that SpiderMan will be using a “home-made” suit on his first appearance. Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, will then give him a new suit.
“In the beginning of the film we are getting the home made version of the suit that has been heavily rumored, that’s for sure,” the site noted.
“What about the second version of the suit? That one Peter Parker gets towards the end of the film from Tony Stark that features the traditional blue and red color scheme.”
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has also recently hinted that Spidey’s costume would be different compared to the previous ones he has worn in the past.
“We’ve already designed the costume, which is different than any of the ones that have come before. And yet ours is classic Spidey, as I think you’ll see,” he said according to Ace Showbiz.
Aside from that, Marvel Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada added that the new suit would be “awesome.”
“It looks awesome. I’ve seen a lot of design work that’s been done on the costume. I think there are elements of it that are really going to blow people away, where they are going to go ‘Ah, that’s Marvel doing Spider-Man.’ It’s Spider-Man,” he revealed on Ace Showbiz.
The final designs of the costumes have yet to be revealed.
“Captain America: Civil War” premieres on May 6, 2016 in the USA.
The untitled “SpiderMan” reboot will be released on July 28, 2017, according to IMDb.
