Did the new “Captain America: Civil War” trailer accidentally reveal a major loss for Team Cap? Is Winter Soldier really going to die?
According to Cinema Blend, everyone seems to have missed a “huge spoiler” in the latest trailer. A frame from the trailer reportedly seems to show Winter Soldier’s arm detached from his body. The frame in question, according to Cinema Blend, seems to show “a possibly dead Bucky Barnes on the floor” behind Captain America and Iron Man. Does this really mean Captain America’s ally is dead?
Movie Pilot speculates either Iron Man or Black Panther could have caused the damage. Iron Man, the film blog said, could “have blasted it off.” Black Panter, meanwhile, could have used his vibranium to harm Barnes.
Winter Soldier is not the only character whose death was implied in the new trailer. It was earlier reported that Team Iron Man member, James Rhodes, was shown “seemingly lifeless” in the teaser.
Is Rhodes really going to die in the upcoming “Captain America” movie? Or is there a chance for him to be revived? If Rhodes does die, will Iron Man retaliate against Barnes? Will the Winter Soldier really die? We’ll have to wait for the movie’s release to get answers.
“Captain America: Civil War” is set to hit the big screen on May 6.
Meanwhile, fans who were hoping to see an R-rated “Avengers” movie were earlier disappointed. It was previously reported that Marvel producers think making “more adult” superhero movies is not feasible. This news came despite the financial success of the R-rated Marvel movie, “Deadpool.”
X-Men fans, on the other hand, have some hope. Producer Simon Kinberg earlier said “they may have more wiggle room” with X-Men. But the upcoming X-Men film, “Apocalypse,” will still be PG 13. “X-Men: Apocalypse” is slated to hit theatres on May 27.
