Details about the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” has been making their rounds online. New reports reveal Hawkeye’s new costume. Check it out below.
Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye has been one of the prominent member of The Avengers. Jeremy Renner, who plays the role, shared his new costume by posting a concept art via Twitter:
Noticeably, aside from the changes in his suit, Ant-Man appears to be standing on his right shoulder.
The superhero’s new outfit resembles more of what he wore in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Cinema Blend noted. The site also noticed the uneven sleeves, suggesting that it looks more like a spy-outfit than its predecessor. Notably, aside from his bow-and-arrow weapon, he also seems to carry a gun and a knife along.
As compared to his traditional costume seen in comic books, Cinema Blend believes the new purple outfit brings similarity to the original costume, setting the mask aside.
“This is the closest his costume ever looked to Hawkeye in the 616 universe,” the site notes.
Aside from Hawkeye’s suit, another interesting change has been revealed as well.
A previous report revealed who could be on the blue and red corners, supporting either Captain America or Iron Man. However, this time, Comic Book seems to confirm the final line up for Team Captain America and Team Iron Man.
There were some changes compared to the aforementioned team up. Team Cap will be of Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Hawkeye, Ant-Man and Sharon Carter/Agent 13. On the other hand, Team Stark consists of War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther and Vision.
Where is Spider Man, Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye? Well, since Marvel has been mum about the official sides, fans might have to wait a bit more.
