Captain America: Civil War was just shown in cinemas and is so far a success. However, the moviegoers may have noticed that the Avengers were not complete. Noticeably, Hulk and Thor were missing in action. But their absence was explained in the latest reports.

According to Inverse, Mark Ruffalo himself allegedly said that his character was not really part of the “Civil War” film, despite the report that Hulk was included in the comics version. Back in 2012 film “The Avengers,” Hulk wrecked havoc so Tony Stark felt the need to shut him down. After the final fight in Sokovia, the titanic green superhero bid his goodbye by riding in a Quinjet autopilot, which has gone somewhere unrevealed even in the “Civil War” film.

When will Hulk come back to join the Avengers? The answer may come out sooner or later but for now, fans can only wait and see.

On the other hand, Thor has been missing on the action-filled movie as well. The website explained that some of his scenes were deleted but the reasons are said to be as follows:

Chris Hemsworth, who plays as the hammer sledding Thor has three movies in line: “Thor: Ragnarok” which will be out in 2017, and the two-part film “Avengers: Infinity War.” His busy schedule is cited as one of the main reasons why he went missing on the latest movie.

But more than that, Entertainment Weekly reported that one of the “Captain America: Civil War” screenwriters claimed that the excitement will easily boil down if Thor and Hulk will be in the film. “You put those guys in a fight, it’s over quickly,” Christopher Markus told the magazine. “It’s like, ‘Well, we have the Hulk on our side.’ Oh, fine, then.”

More updates about Marvel movies soon.
