With months before the much awaited showing of Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” in theaters, there has been a rumor that Entertainment Weekly will feature the superhero film as their cover promo next week. More than that, it will allegedly reveal SpiderMan as well.
The rumor started when SuperBro Movie News shared a photo teaser via Twitter on Nov.2. A sort of disclaimer was indicated on the caption:
“-RUMOR- The next issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY issue could be CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR!,” as SuperBro Movie News wrote.
Cosmic Book News wrote that the web slinging superhero could be revealed in EW’s November 13th issue.
Following the said cover promo, the source added that the film’s official trailer could be released in public within 5 weeks.
However, the site seemed to treat this rumor with a grain of salt. Though the news might be false, several promotions regarding the highly- anticipated motion picture are already expected towards the coming weeks.
With a lot of speculations surrounding the film- like who will possibly die towards the end, who will be siding on whom, and what could be the changes on their outfits seem to bring more excitement among the fans.
Aside from the Civil War film, more Marvel movies are also set to kick off in theaters such as “The Guardians of the Galaxy 2,” “Thor: Ragnarok,” and “Avengers: Affinity 1 & 2,” to name a few.
Meanwhile, the film’s synopsis explains “a feud between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) leaves the Avengers in turmoil.”
Stay tuned for more updates regarding this much awaited film.
