The hype about “Captain America: Civil War” might not cool down anytime soon. There have been reports that Black Widow will allegedly have a standalone film.

Once will notice that almost all Avengers have a solo film: Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and not to mention that some of the previous films were focused on Captain America’s story. However, directors Joe and Anthony Russo reportedly had the idea of making a movie dedicated to Black Widow.

One of their recent interviews revealed that it can be possible. “We find that [Black Widow] is one of (if not the) richest character in the Marvel universe,” says Joe Russo, quotes Newsarama.

“A very complex character, haunted by demons and her understanding of the world is fascinating. I think there is a lot that can be done with that character.”

They did not confirm or deny the rumors, but they expressed their love for Scarlett Johansson and her character. “Hell yeah! We love that character,” said Joe Russo. “And we love Scarlett,” Anthony added.

Meanwhile, another Avenger seems to be left out when it comes to solo films. Many have asked if Hawkeye could lead a spinoff, and here’s what Jeremy Renner said:

“There are always talks about things, but that doesn’t ever mean they’ll become a reality. All these things can still happen,” quotes The Daily Beast.

“They just pave some road and plant some seeds for future things—if they choose to go down that road,” the actor added.

On the other hand, Cinema Blend also believes that Black Widow could have a solo movie first before the arrow-slinging avenger.

Besides, Marvel has been busy for upcoming films “Doctor Strange” and “Guardians of the Galaxy 2,”  “Thor: Ragnarok,” and “Avengers: Infinity War 1&2,” to cite a few. Should Renner get a solo film, it would be out not earlier than 2019.
