Marvel recently announced a “Black Panther” movie and fans can’t stop getting curious. While Black Panther shared a good camaraderie with Black Widow in “Civil War,” we can’t help but wonder if she will join him in his new movie.
The “Black Panther” movie is scheduled to hit the screens in 2018, reveals Bustle. However, not much information is available about the storyline. As a result, fans are resorting to speculation and theorising. IMDb spilled some beans on the storyline. The plot of “Black Panther” will see Prince T’Challa of Wakanda embracing his alter-ego after the death of his father. Now we know that the movie will take place in Wakanda and away from American soil.
“Captain America: Civil War” introduced us to T’Challa. Both pieces of information have been enough fodder for fans. Bustle speculates that the movie will be set after the Civil War.
Bit Bag explains that the great chemistry the Black Panther has with the Black Widow which was clearly visible in “Captain America” leads everyone to speculate whether Natasha Romanoff will make an appearance in this movie or not. It makes sense though for Romanoff to star alongside T’Challa as they will only reunite later for the “Infinity War” movies.
Scarlett Johansson plays the popular Black Widow, who is a Marvel mercenary. A recent poll of Marvel fans about a new solo movie saw Johansson’s Black Widow winning a landslide victory. According to Inquisitr, around 48 percent fans would love a movie about Natasha Romanoff. She was closely followed by Hawkeye, Falcon, Vision, War Machine, and Scarlet Witch.
Screen Crush revealed that the poll results and Johansson’s interest in the solo project will be enough for Marvel to set the wheels rolling. In fact, Kevin Feige has already had a discussion with the actress and the Russo brothers Joe and Anthony are said to have shown their support for the project.
