The Black Market in “Call of Duty: Black Ops III” features new items players would certainly gun for.
Activision added hundreds of unique gear highlighting three guns, two melee weapons and 18 specialist themes.
Check them out in the trailer provided by Call of Duty’s Youtube channel below:
Concerns about additional guns being overpowered and turning the game into “pay to win” where unfair advantage is handed to those who are willing to give more from their real life pockets are sure to arise. The players need not worry though for all these weapons are available for any player as long as they have the sufficient in-game currency, as reported in GameSpot.
The first to be featured among the additional guns is the MX Garand, capable of killing targets within two shots under considerable range, which is actually just M1 Garand with modern upgrades. The second “gun” weapon is the NX Shadow Claw Crossbow which is not only silent but also fires quite rapidly between shots since it is semi-automatic. The third gun introduced is the Marshal 16 Shotgun Pistol or Buckshot Hand Cannon which combines the destructive close range blasts of a shotgun and the movement speed offered by any other handgun.
As for the melee weapons, the “Iron Jim” is practically a crowbar that players can use to whack opponents, preferably in the face. Then there’s the “Fury’s Song” weapon, a futuristic broad sword which can slash opponents if players prefer swordplay. All these weapon details are provided by CharlieIntel.
There were no details regarding the actual price of the fresh set of items. But players can check them out in the Black Market which can be accessed in-game. The “Call of Duty: Black Ops III” was made available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC last November 6, 2015. It is currently on sale via gaming platform Steam in celebration of the Lunar Year.
