Earlier reports revealed that one person was missing following the incident but all four people inside the shared house escaped the fire, according to News.com.au. Victoria police have claimed that only two people were at home when the fire broke out while the other two were not at home. The two residents escaped the fire and had no injuries. A police spokesperson released a statement where he said that the fire was not being considered as suspicious.
The reports stated that three out of five people at the scene were being treated for smoke inhalation. The Herald Sun revealed clashing reports that stated that three people were found at the property while the fourth resident, a woman, was not there when the fire was caught. Around 35 firefighters had to work continuously for 30 minutes to bring the situation under control. The people involved were in stable conditions and no one’s life was endangered by the disaster.
Following the incident, the authorities have issued a warning to the residents of Brunswick, Brunswick East, and Brunswick West. The people have been requested to avoid the Lobb Street. The street has been closed after complaints of black smoke from the house polluting the area. Immediately after the fire, the rescue officials evacuated the neighborhood. The investigation was still going on to find out the real cause of the fire, which might have an adverse effect on the residents.
The affected Brunswick house is close to pop star Beyonce property that was built in 2013. You can get a picture of the area and the pop star’s house in his music video album, No Angel.
