The mission to take down Figgis begins in next week’s episode of the hit comedy series, Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 4. There is a lot to expect from next week’s episode most especially in the road trip of Jake and Holt. They head to Florida and will be facing an awkward reunion between former lovers Amy and Jake.

According to the Brooklyn Nine-Nine fan site, the title for next week’s episode is “Coral Palms Pt. 3. Fans would expect to see the first road trip of the team together. Everyone drives to Florida to try to help Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) in their mission to take down Jimmy “The Butcher” Figgis. However, Sheriff Reynolds doesn’t want them to succeed and interrupts them.

The mission doesn’t go as well as they had planned it. However, a little romance peppers the episode. In the middle of the commotion, lovers Amy (Melissa Fumero) and Jake share an awkward reunion.

Just a recap on last Tuesday’s episode, Jim O’Heir first made a guest appearance on the show. He appears as a slightly racist and homophobic Florida sheriff. It was also his character who arrested Jake and Holt and they both experienced the other side of the interrogation table. What led them to being arrested was when they were tracking down Figgis to end his evil deed.

They’ve told Reynolds that they were police from Brooklyn under the witness protection program, but the Florida sheriff won’t believe them. Jake and Holt found a way to escape the sheriff. they ended up kissing so the sheriff would freak out.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the show runner, Dan Goor said, “We do see him [O’Heir] again in episode three,” he confirmed. As per Good, the fans should expect more appearances from many previous guest stars in the show.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
