Country singers Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert filed for divorce months ago. But how true is it that Shelton is moving on fast? Rumor has it that Lambert’s ex-husband wants to hook up with Rihanna.
The 39-year old singer allegedly likes the young RnB singer, and that they might be “hooking up” in the future.
“I was amazed by Rihanna. She is so funny…and she’s crazy about me,” Shelton told Access Hollywood. “We’ll probably end up hooking up at some point. I’m just saying.”
Shelton also joked that he and Rihanna could have a possible “collaboration.”
“I see a collaboration – maybe not musically. You know what I’m saying?”
RiRi will be one of the mentors of “The Voice” Season 9, where Shelton is one of the coaches.
Aside from the country singer who got divorced this year, another “The Voice” judge called her marriage quits. No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani also broke up with his ex-husband, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, recently.
However, Access Hollywood noted that Shelton and Stefani, together with their co-judges, have learned to support each other during the difficult times.
On the other hand, Gwen seems to be happy returning to the show.
“I think it is such a refreshing role to play in my life. I think being on the show is one of the favorite things I have ever done,” the “Hollaback Girl” singer told Parade about being “The Voice” coach.
“Just being around music in a new way and getting to hear everybody’s stories and be so inspired, and to see people improve, and to see yourself have an impact on people, it’s so rewarding,” she continued.
Aside from Shelton and Stefani, talented singer and composer Pharrell Williams and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will be this season’s coaches. Meanwhile, Carson Daly will return as the show host as well, notes IMDb.
“The Voice” Season 9 premieres on Sept. 21
