Blake Shelton met the parents of rumored girlfriend Gwen Stefani and it seems that the “The Voice” judge impressed Gwen’s dad.

A source told People magazine that Blake helped Gwen’s dad, Dennis, around the house when the country singer spent time with Stefani’s family in Los Angeles.

“They seemed very friendly and like they were getting along great,” the insider said.

According to Hollywood Life, Blake’s mom, Dorothy Shelton, also approved the “No Doubt” singer for his son.

Mrs. Shelton reportedly even gave the singer an extra-special Christmas gift when she visited Blake’s home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

“Blake’s mom Dorothy absolutely adores Gwen. She gave her son two thumbs up on his new girlfriend and as a gift Dorothy gave Gwen a photo of Blake when he was a little boy holding his pet frog,” a source told HollywoodLife.

“She told Gwen a bunch of stories about Blake’s childhood and how he used to save all the wild animals and bring her frogs,” the insider added.

The NBC reality competition couple also attended the engagement party thrown by Blake for his former reality show contestant RaeLynn over the weekend.

RaeLynn, who was featured in season 2 of “The Voice”, is engaged to fiancé Josh Davis.

Meanwhile, Blake will reportedly dress up as Santa Claus for Gwen’s three boys this Christmas, Hollywood Life wrote.

The couple was recently spotted boarding a private plane on December 19. The Daily Mail speculated that Gwen and Blake were leaving on a “romantic pre-holiday getaway.”

This may mean that the new couple will be spending time together now because they are going to be celebrating Christmas separately. Blake may spend the holiday in Oklahoma with his family, while Gwen may end up spending at least part of Christmas Day with Gavin and their children.

Earlier, Blake and Gwen were also spotted getting intimate and had some PDA moments during a romantic date night.
