The Winter Soldier might just show up in the upcoming Black Panther movie. Or at least, that’s what Captain America star Sebastian Stan recently hinted.

Black Panther and the Winter Soldier did not exactly get along in their first encounter onscreen. They first got into each other’s radar in Captain America: Civil War. Black Panther first blamed the Winter Soldier for his father’s death. However, when the truth was finally revealed, the Prince of the Bantu even offered to help Bucky Barnes. Given this, could the the two Marvel icons be expected to work together in Black Panther’s solo movie?

According to ComicBook.com, this is a possibility that Stan recently raised in an interview. The actor was asked which upcoming movie he sees Bucky joining next. “Where did he end up at the end of the movie? That’s the movie he should be in,” the actor said. The actor’s clue might sound cryptic.

But, it actually is pretty straightforward. At the end of Civil War, the Winter Soldier was seen going into hibernation with the help of Black Panther. “I feel like that would be the natural… But I don’t know,” Stan concluded.

Will the Winter Soldier really show up in the standalone Black Panther movie? Fans might have to wait two more years to find out. Black Panther will not hit the big screen until February 16, 2018.

Meanwhile, according to Comic Book Resources, fans of the Black Panther comic book series might have to wait a little longer for the release of the next installment. The current writer of the series, Ta-Nehisi Coates, recently took to Twitter to apologize for the delay. “Sorry Wakandans, Black Panther #3 has been delayed,” Coates said. “Will hit stands June 29. It’s a hard-knock life, for sure…We are working really hard on this one.”
