This is some treat for “Call of Duty” fans. Activision will be dedicating a new video series just for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3”. The announcement also states that the video will air on the “Call of Duty” Youtube Channel every Friday running through October end.
Activision alone with developer Treyarch will broadcast “never before seen” footages from the game live, notes the Gamespot.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops III”, set in a dystopian future in 2065, is an upcoming first-person shooter video game in the “Call of Duty” franchise, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. The game is a sequel to the 2012 game “Call of Duty: Black Ops II”, and will be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Ever since the release of the franchise, the game has garnered huge popularity among players across all platforms and fans are desperately looking forward to the video series.
The official launch date for “Black Ops III” has been scheduled for November 6, the Playstation official blog cited.
Activision is not doing such promotional activities for the first time. Earlier, it held weekly video series to hype “hype the release of ‘The Taken King’, the latest expansion for ‘Destiny.’”
“Black Ops Fridays” will happen on Oct. 9, 16, 23, and 30, starting at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT / 8 PM UK. During this event Activision will take interviews, potential comments and reviews and see how the experiences is being perceived by the players.
Playstation has already released a statement thanking all fans around the globe.
