“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” will be releasing a beta version on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms its developers confirmed.
Treyarch has revealed that it will be releasing a beta version of the game for PlayStation 4 on August 19, and will run for five days until August 23. However, many have been asking if Xbox One and PC will also receive a beta release before “Black Ops 3” officially hits stores on November. The American game developer says “Yes!”
According to Geek Snack, Treyarch has confirmed that there will be a beta version for the Microsoft platforms — Xbox One and PC. The company has not confirmed the release date though, and it’s understandable that the said consoles will get the updates later than the PS4. The site noted that Treyarch struck a deal with Sony, confirming that “Black Ops 3” updates and DLCs will come to PlayStation before other consoles.
For gamers to receive the beta version of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3”, they should pre-order the game through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live and other participating stores. Only a limited number of beta tickets are available so it’s important to pre-order the game early.
Aside from the Beta version, IGN has also confirmed that zombies will also be part of “Black Ops 3”. The zombies mode will feature a star-studded cats of actors voicing the characters.
Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman, Robert Picardo, and Jeff Goldblum have joined the cast for the unique “CoD” game mode.
“All the characters are deeply flawed, with a secret that drives them to seek redemption. They’re tempted by Robert Picardo’s charcter, the Shadow Man, who offers to help but may have some more sinister motive,” IGN wrote.
“Call of Duty: Balck Ops 3” will release for the PS4, Xbox One & PC on November 6, 2015.
