The Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the 2nd Semi Final of the Big bash League between the second placed Melbourne Stars and the defending champions Perth Scorchers. The upcoming clash is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 22, starting 7:40 PM Local Time and 8:40 AM GMT.

As per the ESPN Cric Info reports, the Stars will be missing the likes of Scott Boland, all-rounder James Faulkner as well as the power house Glenn Maxwell. On the Perth Scorchers’ side, Mitchell March as well as Shaun Marsh have been part of the Australian playing XI in the home series against Australia.

The Big Bash League is coming to an end but not without some epic encounters. The Adelaide Strikers will host the Sydney Thunder in an epic 1st Semi Final of the Big Bash League at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, Jan. 21, starting 7:10 PM local time.

Melbourne Stars will gain the home support against the last year champions Perth Scorchers. The Scorchers looked somewhat erratic with their performance in the last few games while the Stars managed to grab the second spot in the league.

It has been a terrific BBL season five. nearly all the games have gone down to the wire. Semi Final clashes should prove to be no different.
