CBS show “The Big Bang Theory” is set to premiere its 9th Season on September 21. Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, known for her role as Penny, may have just let out what’s in store for viewers in the upcoming season.
The actress indicated that Penny and Leonard’s relationship will be seen progressing in the new season. She told ETOnline, “Between Leonard and Penny… All the dreams came true for me.”
Her statement has left fans wondering and hoping that Penny and Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, will indeed be seen tying the knot on the show.
The season 8 finale saw Penny and Leonard heading to Las Vegas to get married, however, the apprehensions could clearly be seen. At this time, Leonard also revealed to Penn that during his time at the North Sea research expedition he had kissed another girl. Penny was then left in a lurch, unsure of whether she was taking steps in the right direction.
The last episode of the season also saw a twist in Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) and Amy’s relationship. Amy, portrayed by Mayim Bialik, told Sheldon that she wanted to “step back and re-evaluate.” Followers of the show were shocked at the revelation.
It will definitely be interesting to see how both these relationships, Penny and Leonard as well as Sheldon and Amy, progress.
In another “Big Bang Theory” news, a highest-paid TV actors list put together by Forbes revealed that Parsons is in the lead with a whopping $29 million earnings recorded between June 1, 2014 and June 1, 2015. This makes him the world’s highest paid TV actor.
He is followed by co-star, Galecki with earnings of $27 million. Howard Wolowitz played by Simon Helber and Raj Koothrappali portrayed by Kunal Nayyar, both made it onto the list at $20 million each.
While congratulations are in order for the members of the cast, the fans will eagerly be awaiting for the first episode of “The Big Bang Theory” Season 9 to be telecasted on September 21.
