Along with the ‘The Big Bang Theory’ renewal for season 10, came a little piece of bad news. The fans may have to bid goodbye to two of their regular cast members by the end of the tenth season. There are also speculations that the comedy series might not head towards season 11 since the negotiations between CBS and Warner Bros do not seem very favorable. Will season 10 be the show’s last?
Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) from ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will complete their contract tenure by the end of the tenth season. As a matter of fact, the extension of these contracts will be the first challenge in renewing the show for another season, Christian Today reports.
However, the 30-year-old has already shown how involved she is in the show. Back in March, she conveyed “The Big Bang Theory” season 10 will not wrap up the show yet. During that interview with TV Line, Cuoco expressed how badly she wants to be a part of the show. “I think it’s a given that we want to be here. That’s the overall consensus,” she said. “It might be a sticky road, but if I have anything to do with it, we’d be here for much longer. That’s the goal,” the actress continued to cement her presence in “The Big Bang Theory” up to its end.
Cuoco’s character, who we know as Penny, is expected to be further brought to life in “The Big Bang Theory” season 10. The previous season underlined Penny’s struggle in her career and how she had to choose her reality over her dreams. The upcoming season might explore more about her career. “The Big Bang Theory,” Season 10 spoilers say that Penny’s mother will make an appearance in the series. Rumors have revealed that Lisa Kudrow may bag this role.
On the other hand, Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper) is seen empathetic about his co-stars’ stay in the “The Big Bang Theory” season 10 and beyond. Parsons concludes: “If the opportunity to go past Season 10 came up, I’d be very hard-pressed to tell you who [among the cast] might say no — if anybody would, I wouldn’t.”
Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is yet to respond on this matter. “The Big Bang Theory” season 10 is expected to premiere on CBS during fall 2016.
