Big Bang Theory Season 10: Amy and Sheldon Miserable as Roommates?

The Big Bang Theory Season 10

Is a new roommate agreement coming in The Big Bang Theory Season 10?

Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) are making a huge step in their relationship. Amy is moving in at Sheldon’s. However, it seems Sheldon is less than eager to make a new roommate agreement with his girlfriend.

In the upcoming Episode 4 of The Big Bang Theory Season 10 titled The Cohabitation Experimentation, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) will first suggest to Amy that she use Leonard’s room and her boyfriend will stay at her place. Leonard (Johnny Galecki), however, makes a counter suggestion – why not use Sheldon’s room.

Amy then asks the Caltech physicist if she could stay in his and Leonard’s home while her apartment is still flooded because of a burst pipe. Sheldon will agree, but at the back of his mind, he resents the idea that she is moving in with him.

In their conversation, Amy asks Sheldon about sharing a bed with her. Sheldon responds: “Excited, concerned, scared, all of the same emotions I feel in line at Space Mountain.”

Will there be coitus part 2 in Episode 4?  Remember that the couple had their first coitus last season during Amy’s birthday. It was their first after over five years of dating. This time around, it seems like this will not be happening. The moving in will be less blissful for Amy than she thought.

No need to panic. This will not cause an Amy-Sheldon split since this living arrangement will only be temporary.  Executive producer Steve Molaro told Entertainment Weekly that Amy and Sheldon living together is only an experiment for the couple.

Elsewhere, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) are upset when Raj (Kunal Nayyar ) tags along on their sonogram appointment and learns the gender of their baby before they do.
