Beyoncé just reminded everyone why she is the Queen B. Hours after she launched on Net-a-Porter yesterday, Ivy Park, her clothing line, is already sold out. That’s not all, key pieces from her athleisure line have made its way to eBay at atrocious prices.
Beyoncé’s Ivy Park line consists of a comfortable collection of workout gear, reveals Inquisitr. Key pieces include leotards, sports bra, body suits, tops, sweat shirts, racerback tops, bomber jackets, shell shorts and more.
It is available for purchase on Net-a-Porter and Topshop. While it is being distributed in as many as 50 countries, in Australia, the collection is available on The Iconic, Myer, Glue Store, and Topshop as well. Priced between AU$34.95 to AU$269.95, the collection is selling like hotcakes, informs Buzzfeed.
Some of the sold out items have already made its way to eBay. The pieces are being sold at a hefty premium and fans are ready to pay it. According to Inquisitr, an Ivy Park Leotard is already sold on eBay for AU$518.98 (US$400). As we speak, eBay Australia has listed the Ivy Park hoodie for AU$260.37 and logo sliders at AU$725.33. The prices are exclusive of shipping charges.
Beyoncé’s Ivy Park is a collaboration between the “Formation” singer and Sir Philip Green of Topshop. Ivy Park is named after Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy and is an athleisure line for people “who want to work with rather than against their bodies.” It became one of the most popular brands on Instagram even before it launched. Mashable explains that Ivy Park was high up on engagement levels. “We’ve never seen this before and it’s a unique moment in time. We haven’t seen this kind of engagement in the past from any other brand,” revealed Thomas Rankin, CEO of Dash Hudson, to Mashable.
It is no wonder then that the brand is such a success immediately after its launch.
