Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” remains at the top of everyone’s minds ever since it debuted. Her sixth album continues to receive praise from fans and celebrities yet the sweetest tribute to date comes from another singer of comparable stature as Queen Bey.

Adele recently paid homage to Beyoncé and shared a picture of herself on Instagram, CelebsNow reported. The singer lovingly embraced an enlarged cover art for Queen Bey’s 2006 single “Irreplaceable,” with the songstress proclaiming her obsession over Beyoncé ever since. However, her reaction to “Lemonade” is rather late as compared to others who did so early on, the publication noted.

Nevertheless, Adele’s caption is proof of her admiration for Queen Bey, her beauty, and her work. “I’m not late on this, I’ve just been speechless. Beyonce is the most inspiring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of worshipping. Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé X”

In her interview with Time Magazine in 2015, the singer openly revealed that Beyonce is one of her priorities after her child. Hence, she laughed at the idea she would turn down the chance to sing with Queen Bey.

“Whoever started that rumour must have been having a laugh because anyone who knows me knows that my main priority in life outside of my child is Beyoncé,” Adele said. The songstress also told Zane Lowe she would never turn down Beyoncé and stated it’s “Queen Bey ’til the day I die.”

The admiration is apparently mutual and Beyoncé has also praised the singer for her voice. MTV recalled the first encounter between the two and revealed how Queen Bey inspired Adele’s alter ego, Sasha Carter.

“I was about to meet Beyoncé and I had a full-blown anxiety attack, then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, ’You’re amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God,’” Adele revealed. Adele admitted she cried hysterically afterwards. Nevertheless, she was able to turn around the situation and it gave birth to Sasha Carter.

“I said, ‘What would Sasha Fierce (Beyoncé ‘s alter ego) do?’ That’s when Sasha Carter was born.” The singer-songwriter looks to Sasha Carter for a shot of confidence when she needs it, the publication noted.

A set list for Beyonce’s new album leaked online last month. It hinted at a supposed duet between her and Adele. However, the track list of “Lemonade” didn’t feature this. Hopefully, their mutual admiration would eventually pave the way for their epic duet.
