Hot on the heels of her single “Formation”, Beyoncé is set to release her second album this year in April.

Hits Daily Double hinted the album is a joint project with husband Jay-Z. However, the website also mentioned the singer’s multi-album deal with Sony Music.

Moreover, Hits Daily Double added, “the final release under the current deal is now set for April”.

To date, news about the release of her sixth studio album, codenamed “B6”, are scarce, Bustle noted.

Bustle also commented on the April premiere of her new album. The website said the release date made sense since the Queen Bey’s “Formation” tour starts April 27.

Incidentally, Billboard dubbed Beyoncé as the Queen of Touring. Ticket sales are “beyond fantastic” the website quoted Arthur Fogel, chairman of Live Nation Global Touring, promoters of Bey’s Formation world tour.

Billboard revealed ticket sales have already topped $100 million.

In an earlier post, Bustle cited an interview of the singer’s stylist Ty Hunter on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. Hunter revealed details about his client’s new album.

Hunter told Cohen that he had heard the new record. The stylist also said it’s great.

Hunter said, “I’ve heard the new album, and it’s beyond awesome.”

iDigital Times reported a clue posted on social media by producer Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher’s selfie with Beyoncé.

When asked by a fan “Where’s that music though?”

Detail replied, “iz coming”.

The producer earlier hinted at the Jay Z-Beyonce album. He spoke with Billboard on the red carpet during the Grammys 2015.

Detail said, “Me and Beyonce and Jay-Z are actually doing something together this year. I mean, when you think of Jay and B together, you think album. You should already know.”

iDigital Times noted that a new album from Beyoncé would be good for Tidal. Its release would keep the “momentum going” for Jay Z’s streaming service following the exclusive release of “TLOP” from Kanye West.
