Bella Hadid stole the show in Cannes this week when she wore a red silk wrap gown from Alexandre Vauthierwith on the red carpet.
The “naked dress” she was wearing had a plunging neckline. There was also a thigh split that was quite stunningly high.
She smashed the age-old advice of only showing legs or cleavage. Bella showed off both while simultaneously flaunting her side boob and curves in the “barely there top”, reports Daily Mail.
The dress seemed to rule out the possibility of wearing underwear.
While making poses on the red carpet at the Unknown Girl premiere, the 19-year-old model looked like she was inches away from an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
It was reported recently by Daily Mail that the model’s stylist Elizabeth Sulcer has opened up about the outfit’s secret. She said that Bella Hadid was not in any risk of revealing too much because of a hidden built-in bodysuit.
Although it seemed like the softest Riviera breeze could strip the model of the naked dress to straight up naked, in reality, the dress gave away very little.
According to stylist Sulcer, the whole ensemble is about the undergarments, which seemed to be absent.
“Every aspect of the dress was planned,” Sulcer said.
She mentioned that the dress had a built-in silk bodysuit. She added that a top-stick tape is always a bright idea and the rest is of course “practice makes perfect.”
Sulcer is also known for styling Hadid’s first Cannes look, where the model wore a nude Roberto Cavalli gown. Also included was the model’s black latex Atsuko Kudo mini she wore at the Met Gala after-party, says Honey.
Bella Hadid’s Vauthierwith red dress was utterly fascinating. It was totally backless with thin spaghetti halterneck straps.
The revelations from Sulcer now explain why the model seemed so confident while she posed on the red carpet. She was actually not worried at all of revealing too much.
