As the premiere of “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” inches closer, details of the film continue to pour out and tease fans.
The latest of these details was revealed exclusively by Entertainment Weekly and it is none other than Batman’s (Ben Affleck) hideout — Bruce Wayne’s top secret Batcave.
In the article by EW, two photos are shown: one with Bruce and Alfred (Jeremy Irons) appearing busy at work in front of some computer technology and another of the Batcave itself. The exclusive photos reveal that Bruce Wayne will not be going against the mighty Superman unarmed and unprepared. Rather, as what the high-end expanse of the Batcave reveals, Batman has some tricks up his sleeve.
However, an all-new Batcave is not the only thing that Bruce Wayne has in store.
Screen Crush relays that an all-new Alfred is also fitting for Batman’s new sanctuary. The website quotes the actor who plays Batman’s trusted butler in saying:
“Alfred is a lot more hands-on in our film than he has previously been… He’s a bit of a grease monkey, and he’s very involved in the decisions Bruce makes.”
Could this mean that the new Alfred will do more action in “Batman vs Superman” than previous Alfreds have done before? It is vague as of the moment, but the term “hands on” speaks a lot of what director Zack Snyder may add to set Irons apart from other actors who played Alfred in previous Batman films.
Whatever “Batman vs Superman’s” treatment of Affleck’s Bruce Wayne may be, the new photos suggest that fans have a better reason to look forward to until the film comes out.
“Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars Affleck alongside Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.
It is scheduled for release on March 26, 2016.
