‘Batman vs Superman’ Christmas Trailer Released; Shows Santa Claus?

If there could be a War on Christmas, “Batman vs Santa Claus” would be the most epic one.

YouTuber Funny or Die put together a mashup video featuring “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and Tim Allen’s 1994 classic, “The Santa Clause.”

Funny or Die wrote “Mankind faces a new threat as Ben Affleck’s Batman embarks on a personal vendetta against…Santa Claus.”

Although it is not an official trailer for the high-anticipated DC 2016 movie, wouldn’t it be amazing to see Santa in the actual movie?

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. has released a second international “Batman vs Superman” trailer.

The new trailer, which was released for Asian audiences, offered a new look at Ben Affleck’s character – Bruce Wayne.

MovieWeb noted that although most of the footage in the Japanese clip has been seen before, it also showed Bruce Wayne out of his Batman suit of armor. The millionaire superhero also offered an intriguing new line of dialogue that fans haven’t seen in the previous teasers.

In the trailer, Bruce told Alfred: “This may be the only thing I do that matters.”

Affleck also teased that viewers will see a frustrated and angry Dark Knight in the upcoming movie.

The Hollywood Reporter quoted the actor saying Bruce Wayne “courts many women, owns many cars, and parties a lot. He does that as a way to fill the void in his soul. Moreover, past incarnations dealt with a straightforward search for justice. This time, Batman’s reasoning is clouded by frustration, bitterness and anger,” citing an interview with French magazine Studio Ciné Live.

The Zack Snyder-directed movie stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

It also features Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman.

“Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” is set to open in cinemas worldwide on March 25, 2016.
