Batman V Superman

“Batman vs Superman” movie spoilers continue to circulate on the web. Reports on Doomsday revelation, a secret villain and about Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor were reported in the past weeks. We now hear that Lauren Cohan, the “Walking Dead” star has been added to the already gigantic star cast of the movie. Cohan is expected to play the role of Martha Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s mother.

The news came to light when IMDb’s Twitter feed posted that Lauren’s name is added to the cast. However, Digital spy reports that Warner Bros has not confirmed the news as yet.

Movieweb informs that there were speculations for quite some time now related to a flash back about death of Bruce Wayne’s parents. However there is no news on the length or significance of the role Lauren Cohan is penciled in to play.

Cinema Blend states that the Comic-Con trailer of the film showed the tragic accident. However, it did not show who was playing the mother’s role. The website further states that there is nothing new that can be done to the flashback, which shows the Wayne family walking down a dark alley. A gunman, demand for money and valuables, a small fight and several shots. That is how young Bruce sees his parents’ life snuffed out in cold blood.

In addition to Lauren, Jeffery Dean Morgan is roped in to play the role of Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s father. Jeffery Dean Morgan is also set to join “The Walking Dead” as Negan, the villain.

Lauren Cohan and Jeffery Dean Thomas join the stellar cast of Oscar winner Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Kent, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot.

In addition to being a part of “Batman Vs Superman,” Lauren Cohan has many other things on her plate. For starters, she will return as Maggie in “The Walking Dead” Season 6, starting February 14. She will also share the big screen with Rupert Evans, Ben Robson and Diana Hardcastle in “The Boy,” which is set for release this weekend.
