Batman Arkham Knight PS4 DLC: 7 New Characters & Character Selection Added to Combat AR Challenge

Batman fans have a lot to rejoice since their requested features have finally been introduced in “Batman: Arkham Knight” today. The latest character selection in Combat AR Challenges has been added in the latest update version, 1.09, available exclusively on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

WB forums have updated the news about the latest selection process and you can play exciting Combat AR Challenges with the new DLC which adds upto seven new characters. Following the arrival of “Batman: Arkham Knight”, there were plenty complains about the selection of characters and Warner has finally delivered to their fans.

However, the available characters will depend on the DLC you have, the EuroGamer notes. WB forums stated in their post, “Everyone can play as Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing and Azrael, even if your story save file hasn’t reached the point where these characters have been introduced. Red Hood, Harley Quinn and Batgirl are exclusive to their respective DLC packs. Season Pass Holders automatically get access to everyone, as long as they have the respective packs installed.”

Completing challenges can be way more difficult playing as other characters than playing as Batman, warns Warner. New characters will have their own abilities and set of skills.

Commenting on playing the more advanced challenges, Warner said, “That’s intentional, Batman is a legendary hand-to-hand fighter, and a great deal more powerful than his allies, but you’ll find that the other characters’ abilities and animations reflect their respective skills as well.”

The update provided today will let you use new characters in the Free Flow combat AR Challenges, while a November update will let gamers use these characters on the Invisible Predator AR Challenges, the makers promised.

Playstation Lifestyle stations helps explains the selection process and how to switch characters.

Go to the AR Challenge in the menu and then press left or right on the d-pad. “The characters you have available will be shown in portraits, and the name of the character in the selection box will turn yellow. Simply hit X on PS4 or A on XB1 after that to start the challenge.”

The Update also reduces the “Blue walls” as depicted.
