Are we about to witness a major “The Bachelorette” girl fight? Is Caila Quinn “totally pissed” that she was replaced by JoJo Fletcher? Is Quinn feeling bitter that she would not be the next Bachelorette?
Quinn was reportedly dropped as the “Bachelorette.” According to Hollywood Life, the former “Bachelor” contestant finally broke her silence. She was not as bitter as people would expect. She reportedly handled the news “with class.” She took to Twitter to weigh in on the matter.
Quinn tweeted a photo of herself with Fletcher. “Bachelor” winner Lauren Bushnell was also in the background. “Congratulations to these beautiful girls!” she said. “Sending love as the journey isn’t over. It’s only just beginning.”
ABC has yet to confirm if Quinn was indeed their “original choice.” However, US Weekly earlier reported that Quinn might be the next Bachelorette. She was reportedly “spotted filming [promos] in her hometown.” However, as US Weekly points out, Quinn was “a polarizing pick.” Fans of the series reportedly even took to social media to air their “displeasure” about her speculated casting.
A top finisher on “The Bachelor” has always been chosen to star in past seasons of “The Bachelorette.” According to US Weekly, two former Bachelorettes were both second runners-up. This includes Kaitlyn Bristowe (from “The Bachelor” season 19) and Andi Dorfman (from season 18). Quinn was this season’s second runner-up. She was still able to join Ben Higgins in the fantasy suites episode in Jamaica.
However, this season’s first runner-up is reportedly a “fan favourite.” Especially after she got her heart broken in the season finale. Higgins earlier told both Fletcher and Bushnell he loved them.
But what do you think? Do you think JoJo Fletcher is a good choice for the show’s next season? Or do you think Caila Quinn would make a better Bachelorette?
