Wood posted the same picture on his Instagram account, with the caption: “She said YES! When you know, you know. I love you Snezana”.

The couple has yet to reveal details of their wedding.

The engagement comes just two months after the 2015 season of the reality TV show concluded on Channel 10, Sydney Morning Herald noted.

During the finale of “The Bachelor” Australia, Wood confessed he was in love with Snezana.

“I have fallen madly in love with you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Snezana, I really do,” he said.

“You make me a better man. I want to spoil you and I want to look after you forever. I know it doesn’t mean just looking after you, I know it also means looking after Eve,” Sam added.

He then presented Markoski with a $20,000 commitment ring and a a silver necklace for Snezana’s daughter, Eve. Sam told Markoski he was in her daughter’s debt for convincing her to go on the show.

According to the Daily Mail, the wedding proposal was not a complete surprise. During the ARIA Awards last month, Sam hinted that he may soon pop the question to his girlfriend.

In October, the couple talked about their plans to settle down, get married and have babies of their own during an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O show.

“Yeah look, we have discussed having kids soonish!” Sam said at that time.

Meanwhile, the couple recently spent a holiday with Sam’s family in Tasmania.

Snezana shared on Instagram a snap shot of her, Sam, and Eve while staying at Saffire Freycinet 5 star hotel, overlooking Wine Glass Bay.
