“The Bachelor” 2016 Ben Higgins has been rejected by one of the ladies in the house.

On Monday night’s episode, Lauren Barr, a.k.a. LB, quit the show, telling Ben Higgins that she can’t do it anymore.  Lauren, who described herself “quiet girl from Oklahoma,” took Ben aside for a chat when he asked her if she will accept his rose, Fox News reported.

However, LB told him, “I just don’t know if I can do it” referring to the overwhelming experience. “The Bachelor”2016 star was then seen hugging her before rejoining the other bachelorettes at the rose ceremony.

Ben Higgins told the other ladies that he wanted everyone to feel empowered to make their own decisions before announcing that LB was leaving the show.

“I understand that it isn’t for everybody,” he told the girls about the show’s process of one man dating multiple women. He then added that he would be giving LB’s rose “to somebody I might not have had the chance to get to know better.”

On Monday’s “Bachelor Live” after-show, Ben told host Chris Harrison that LB’s decision was humbling.

“We had one date. I did not expect it … that was definitely something that shook me up,” Fox News quoted Higgins saying.

Meanwhile, Ben also goes on his first dates of the season.

Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher received the first group date rose, while Caila Quinn earned a one-on-one date.

The exclusive date was a star-studded outing alongside “Ride Along 2” actors Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. The actors offered advice to Higgins on how to have an inexpensive date, ABC News reported.

After LB exited the rose ceremony, Ben gave the final rose to Amber James. Caila, Lace Morris, Olivia Caridi, and Amanda Stanton all received roses as well.

Three other gals were sent packing: Samantha Passmore, a 26-year-old from Florida; Mandi Kremer, a 28-year-old from Oregon; and Jackie Dion, a 23-year-old Los Angeles, California.

The night ended with only 16 bachelorettes remaining vying for Ben’s heart. The 20th season of “The Bachelor” premiered earlier this year with 28 ladies.

“The Bachelor” airs Mondays on ABC.
